Responsibilities

  • Edit raw footage into polished videos for various platforms (social media, YouTube, ads, corporate videos, possibly films/TV).
  • Manage and maintain video library and assets; organize project files.
  • Incorporate graphics, animation, subtitles, color correction/grading, sound design (as required).
  • Work with motion graphics / VFX team (if applicable) to integrate elements seamlessly.
  • Ensure videos adhere to brand requirements: style, tone, pacing, transitions.
  • Edit for different formats and aspect ratios (horizontal, vertical, square) depending on platform.
  • Collaborate with directors / creative team to understand vision and feedback; implement revisions.
  • Manage multiple video projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines.
  • Keep up with editing software, tools, and trends; suggest improvements and efficiencies in workflow.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Film, Media, Multimedia, Design, or equivalent preferred (not always mandatory).
  • Strong proficiency in editing software: Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, etc.
  • Familiarity with After Effects (for motion graphics), Photoshop, audio editing tools.
  • Good sense of storytelling, pacing, rhythm, and visuals.
  • Knowledge of color grading, audio mixing, transitions, compression/export settings.
  • Attention to detail, strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to take feedback and iterate quickly.
  • Good communication skills; ability to work independently or in a team.
Nice to Have / Optional
  • Experience with VFX or more advanced motion graphics.
  • Experience in corporate video production, commercials, or short films.
  • Knowledge of newer tools or plugins (e.g., for animation, LUTs, plugins).
  • Experience with rendering optimizations, workflow automation.
