Role Summary

The Assistant Electrical Engineering Manager supports the team in leading the design, implementation, and maintenance of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and project requirements. The role assists in supervising the team, managing day-to-day operations, and coordinating with other departments to achieve project and organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the team in overseeing the electrical engineering team and daily operations.
  • Support the design, review, and approval of electrical engineering plans, drawings, and technical documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
  • Monitor project progress, budgets, and timelines related to electrical engineering works.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (mechanical, civil, operations, and project management) to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for complex electrical issues.
  • Assist in vendor and contractor evaluation, selection, and management.
  • Ensure effective implementation of preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
  • Conduct site inspections to monitor work quality and safety compliance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor\'s degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Licensed Electrical Engineer.
  • Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in electrical engineering, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems design, installation, and maintenance.
  • Familiarity with local electrical codes, standards, and safety practices.
  • Proficiency in project management and technical reporting.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Onsite
  • Project Based (initial contract: 6 months)
  • Mon-Sat 9AM to 6PM
  • HMO (Day 1)
  • Life Insurance (Day 1)
