Service Desk Team Lead

The Service Desk Team Lead oversees IT support operations, ensuring timely and efficient resolution of hardware, software, and network issues. This role combines technical expertise with leadership to maintain high service standards and system reliability. Lead and mentor the Service Desk team in resolving IT-related incidents and service requests. Manage ticket queues, prioritize workloads, and ensure SLA compliance. Serve as the escalation point for complex or critical technical issues. Administer and maintain Active Directory , Office 365 , and endpoint systems. Support deployment, patching, and upgrades for end-user hardware and software. Maintain documentation, knowledge base articles, and recurring issue logs. Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams to resolve system-wide issues. Technical Skills Proficiency in Windows and macOS environments Active Directory administration and Office 365 management Experience with ticketing tools (Freshdesk preferred; ServiceNow, Zendesk, or Jira a plus) Strong understanding of LAN/WAN, VPN, DNS, DHCP, and network troubleshooting Familiarity with ITIL processes , asset management, and incident management Knowledge of servers, virtualization, and endpoint security Qualifications 3–5 years of IT support experience, with at least 1–2 years in a team lead or supervisory role. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to lead a team and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
