Solution Architect

Job Purpose: The Solution Architect for the Enterprise Service Management (ESM) Platform is a pivotal role responsible for designing comprehensive, scalable, and integrated platforms and solutions that address complex business challenges. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams, including developers, engineers, and project managers, to create technical solutions that align with the organization’s goals and technology standards. They work closely with various stakeholders, including IT teams and business units, to translate business problems into technical solutions. This includes selecting appropriate technologies, designing the overall system architecture, and guiding the development and integration processes. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, IRM, CMDB, CSDM and Product Portfolio Management. Responsibilities Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of ESM Platform solutions. Develop and maintain architectural blueprints, roadmaps, and documentation for ESM Platform implementations. Provide technical leadership and guidance to ensure alignment with business goals and IT strategies. Convert business processes into technical Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) for implementation teams to develop the overall design architecture. Oversee the development and deployment of ESM Platform solutions, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define solution scope, and design comprehensive ESM Platform solutions. Manage the end-to-end implementation of ESM Platform projects, including configuration, customization, integration, and testing. Implement and manage ESM Platform Sprints for agile project delivery. Design and implement ESM Platform GenAI solutions and Performance Analytics Dashboards. Design and implement integrations between ESM Platform and other enterprise systems using REST, SOAP, and other relevant technologies. Leverage ESM Platform’s automation capabilities to streamline IT processes and improve service delivery. Ensure seamless data flow and process automation across different IT systems, networks and applications. Utilize Automation Engines/Integration Connectors for integration with COTS and other business applications for workflow orchestration. Establish and enforce governance standards, policies, and procedures for ESM platform usage. Ensure compliance with industry standards, security policies, data protection and regulatory requirements. Monitor platform performance, conduct audits, and implement improvements to optimize ESM Platform operations. Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends. Evaluate and recommend technologies and tools that enhance solution effectiveness. Provide leadership and mentorship to junior architects, developers, and administrators. Conduct training sessions and workshops to enhance the team's knowledge and skills in ESM Platform technologies. Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment, encouraging continuous learning and professional growth. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Strong background in the ITIL framework, with ITIL 4 Foundation certification. ESM Platform’s equivalent of Technical Architect Certifications. 12-15 years of experience in IT service management, enterprise architecture, and ESM platforms. Proven track record of successfully designing and implementing complex ESM solutions in large-scale enterprises where manufacturing environment will be a plus. Experience with ServiceNow Common Service Data Model (CSDM) and ServiceNow Sprints for agile project delivery. At least 5 successful implementations of ESM Platforms. In-depth knowledge of ESM platform architecture, modules, and capabilities. Strong expertise in ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, IRM, CMDB, CSDM and Product Portfolio Management. Proficiency in scripting languages and integration technologies (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML). Experience with CMDB, Discovery, Orchestration, and automation tools. Knowledge of integration using Automation Engine/Integration Hub and RPA Hub for COTS and other business applications for workflow orchestration. Ability to design GenAI Now Assist solutions and Performance Analytics Dashboards. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
