Overview
We are looking for a passionate and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team in the motor parts industry. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of automotive parts and accessories, combined with excellent sales skills. This role involves generating new business, maintaining relationships with existing clients, and achieving sales goals within the automotive sector.
Responsibilities- Sales Growth: Actively prospect and generate new business by identifying potential customers in the automotive repair, service, and dealership sectors.
- Product Knowledge: Develop expertise in the full range of motor parts and accessories offered by the company, including engines, transmissions, brake systems, electrical components, and more.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with automotive shops, dealerships, mechanics, and other customers, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Consultative Sales: Understand client needs and recommend appropriate motor parts and solutions that align with their requirements, ensuring the right fit for their vehicles and applications.
- Sales Presentations and Demonstrations: Conduct in-person or virtual product demonstrations, providing detailed information on motor parts, features, and benefits.
- Order Management: Process orders, track deliveries, and ensure timely follow-up with customers regarding order status.
- Negotiation and Closing: Negotiate prices, terms, and discounts to close deals while maintaining company profitability.
- Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and competitor activities to identify emerging opportunities and provide relevant feedback to the product team.
- Sales Targets and Reporting: Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. Regularly report on sales activities, customer feedback, and market trends.
- Customer Support: Address and resolve customer inquiries, complaints, or issues related to product quality, delivery, and other concerns.
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the automotive or motor parts industry.
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts, repair processes, and terminology.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
