The Finance Director serves as the Head of Finance and a key strategic partner to the leadership team, driving the company’s financial strategy, governance, and long-term growth. This role oversees financial planning and analysis, capital management, external stakeholder relations, and business-wide compliance and governance. The Finance Director provides strategic insights that shape business direction and ensures sustainable financial performance.

Responsibilities
  1. Strategic Leadership & Planning
    • Serve as the Head of Finance and strategic business partner to the executive leadership team.
    • Evaluate financial performance, align with operational goals, budgets, and forecasts, and provide valuable insights and recommendations for both short-term and long-term growth plans.
    • Establish annual financial objectives aligned with business growth targets.
    • Prepare all board presentations on behalf of CEO and advise leadership on financial risks and opportunities.
  2. Financial Analysis, Budgeting and Forecasting
    • Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports, including profit and loss, forecast vs. budget, and cash flow analysis by division on a monthly basis.
    • Lead the financial planning and analysis function, overseeing the development and maintenance of monthly and annual operating budgets.
  3. Accounting, General Ledger, Administration, and Operations
    • Oversee the accounting department, ensuring proper functioning of systems and software, maintaining internal controls, and reviewing financial procedures for compliance.
    • Serve as a key point of contact for external auditors, advise management on financial matters and regulatory compliance, and ensure adherence to tax and statutory requirements.
  4. Financial Management, Relations, and Policies
    • Ensure optimal cash management, including planning, utilization, and availability and reporting.
    • Oversee cash, investments, and assets to maximize returns and minimize risks.
    • Represent the company in dealings with banks, financial partners, institutions, investors, public auditors and officials.
  5. Administrative, Legal, and Systems Governance
    • Provide strategic oversight of inventory management and data integrity to ensure reliability and accountability.
    • Ensure full compliance with legal and regulatory requirements across all entities and business processes, whenever needed.
    • Oversee and manage MIS/IT teams in optimizing financial systems, safeguarding data integrity, driving automation, and ensuring system resilience and compliance.
    • Maintain accountability for legal and corporate documentation, including insurance, contracts, and intellectual property agreements.
  6. People Management
    • Provide strategic leadership across the finance function, setting vision, direction, and priorities that align with business goals.
    • Build and develop a strong finance leadership bench, ensuring succession readiness for key roles.
