We are looking for a tenured Finance Specialist to support our financial department. The responsibilities include processing payments, updating financial records, and managing invoices.
To be successful to this role, you should have strong knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, good organizational skills, and working knowledge of accounting software. Ultimately you should have integrity, excellent mathematical skills, and an understanding of data privacy standards.
Responsibilities

  • Assist the accounting department in daily, monthly, and annual activities, including generating financial reports, developing budgets, preparing taxes, and assisting with audits and resolving discrepancies.
  • Speak with vendors and suppliers to ensure charges are accurate and that payments are received in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate and complete records, including ledgers, invoices and receipts
  • Coordinate and communicate with staff in various departments to ensure complete and accurate documentation to back up transactions.
  • Perform monthly payroll process
  • Prepare and submit government documents ( BIR, City Permits, SEC, etc.)
  • Ensures that the company is updated and is in full compliance with government-mandated remittances
  • Perform such other tasks and duties as may be assigned to him/her from time to time by management, in relation to the Employee's role as Finance and Accounting Assistant the company and/or for the assigned project.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
  • With at least 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in the field of Accountancy.
  • Proficient in the use of QuickBooks and highly adept with Google Workspace tools.
  • Tech-savvy, self-driven, and able to work effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Possesses strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to collaborate within a team environment.
  • Demonstrates excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Must be willing to start immediately and report onsite at the office located in Mother Ignacia, Quezon City.
