Asurion Taguig, National Capital Region, Philippines Senior Network Operations Engineer The DevOps Engineer 3 is a senior‑level role responsible for managing and optimizing the network infrastructure. This includes delivering scalable, secure, and reliable network solutions, supporting day‑to‑day operations, and resolving complex incidents (P2–P3). The ideal candidate will bring strong hands‑on experience in network technologies, operational support, and automation. Key Responsibilities Infrastructure Management: Manage, support, and maintain network components such as Cisco switches and routers, Palo Alto firewalls, Aruba controllers, Netscaler/F5 Load Balancers, and Infoblox systems. Provide operational support for firewall technologies, with familiarity in Checkpoint and Juniper considered a plus. Operational Support: Act as a key escalation point for network‑related issues, handling P2–P3 level incidents. Perform routing and switching tasks beyond basic administration—demonstrating knowledge of how to optimize traffic flow (e.g., point A to point B). Network Protocols & Tools: Strong understanding of routing protocols including BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, and EBGP; experience with Cisco Nexus and Catalyst switches; hands‑on exposure to wireless technologies such as Cisco or Aruba access points and controllers (we are transitioning to Aruba). Automation & Orchestration: Experience in network automation using tools such as Python or Itential (or other orchestration tools). Monitoring & Analysis: Proactively identify and resolve performance issues using network monitoring tools. Project Execution: Lead or support upgrades, migrations, and deployments with minimal business disruption. Compliance & Best Practices: Ensure all configurations and deployments align with internal policies and industry standards. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience in Network Operations, handling complex issues (P2–P3). Proficient in at least 2 out of 4 of the following tools: Palo Alto, Netscaler/F5 Load Balancer, Cisco devices, Aruba controllers. Familiar with Vulnerability Management—experience in this area is a plus. Strong working knowledge of routing & switching, network flows, and troubleshooting. Exposure to wireless technologies (Cisco/Aruba). Experience with automation scripting (Python) and orchestration platforms (Itential preferred). Cisco certification is preferred (e.g., CCNA, CCNP).
