Role Overview We are looking for a talented Video Editor to join our Marketing & Growth team on a freelance basis. You will be responsible for editing and producing engaging, story‑driven videos that reflect Property Filter’s brand and values. From long‑form YouTube explainers to short‑form social clips and event highlights, your work will play a key role in inspiring, educating, and converting property investors across the UK. You’ll collaborate closely with the Head of Growth, Copywriter, and Creative team to ensure every video is on‑brand, strategically aligned, and delivers measurable impact. Your mission Bring Property Filter’s brand, community, and stories to life through powerful, high‑quality video content that educates, engages, and converts. Key Responsibilities Edit and deliver long‑form and short‑form videos for multiple platforms (YouTube, social media, landing pages, and events). Adapt video formats and durations (16:9, 9:16, 1:1) according to the requirements of each platform. Collaborate with the marketing team to A/B test variants (hooks, thumbnails, CTAs) and identify winning versions. Repurpose footage into highlight reels, ad creatives, and short‑form social content. Analyse video performance metrics (views, completion rate, engagement, conversions) and take data‑driven actions to improve future edits. Maintain consistency with PF’s brand identity and tone of voice. Add graphics, captions, and animations aligned with PF’s design system. Conduct trend monitoring and creative watch to propose new concepts, styles, or campaigns. Build and maintain an organised media library (footage, templates, music, sound design, overlays) for consistency and reusability. Manage and organise footage libraries and assets for easy reuse. The Video Ecosystem at Property Filter Brand Films / Founding Stories – cinematic storytelling highlighting PF’s vision and journey. Member Success Stories – interview‑style videos showcasing community impact. VSLs & Event Highlights – dynamic edits capturing energy and FOMO from PF offers and live events. Educational / Explainer Videos – valuable, SEO‑driven content. Ad Creatives & Social Reels – short, high‑performing clips for campaigns. Product & Course Content – internal tutorials, onboarding, and walkthroughs. Qualifications 4+ years of experience in video editing (brand, YouTube, or social). Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or DaVinci Resolve. Strong storytelling and pacing skills. Familiarity with YouTube and social media best practices. Experience with tools like Descript, CapCut Pro, or Frame.io is a plus. Comfortable working in English (UK tone and style). Soft Skills Creative and curious, with strong visual intuition. Analytical mindset — able to turn insights into concrete creative improvements. Organised and autonomous, maintaining a clean library and consistent workflows. Fast learner, staying up to date on trends and formats. Collaborative, receptive to feedback, and passionate about continuous improvement.
