IT Risk Engineer

ING is looking for an experience IT Risk Engineer to work in the Payments Channels domain of Wholesale Banking. The role involves securing critical assets by being proactive in bringing new technologies towards the whole area and take a lead in implementing them. Responsibilities could include risk assessments, preparation of penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, collaboration with external parties, providing technology and security advice, defining security architectures and standards, participating in audits and regulatory assessments, and defining access control security models and overseeing the workspace security. The team At our area we are currently implementing team topologies with a Platform team and an Enabling Team. You will be part of the Enabling Team which focusses on the Risk and Security for the whole area. We are looking for an engineer with experience in auditing and evidencing. The team consist of people in Manilla and Amsterdam with background in Ops engineering and/or First and Second Line of Risk. You will work closely together with the platform team and all the individual squads in the area coordinating the tasks at hand. Roles and Responsibilities: • Extensive knowledge in Identity and Access Management and Security Event Monitoring • Needs to understand how a Risk Framework works and translate them in actionable tasks for the area • Excellent analytical skills to assess & predict risks starting from information/data available • Experience in the inner workings of OS fundamentals with the ability to apply it in the context of modern operating systems, e.g. RHEL Oracle etc. and Java • Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery using Azure DevOps with Ansible • Able to coordinate the resolution of the Vulnerabilities • Willingness to go in depth of the functionality of the applications • Take ownership of actions and show a high level of autonomy: you are a role model and the ‘go to person’ for risk • Able to influence and convince stakeholders and colleagues • Good knowledge of banking & non-financial and regulatory risks • Good to have knowledge of enterprise level networking (TCP/IP, VPNs, SFTP, Proxy, Firewalls) How to succeed We hire smart people like you for your potential.
