Bookkeeper (A.R)

Job Description

This is a remote position. US client is looking for a Full Time Bookkeeper with TaxDome experience. You must have at least 3 years of bookkeeping experience with US clients and must have TaxDome experience. Tax preparation experience is also needed.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
• Process invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial transactions accurately and on time.
• Prepare and maintain various financial reports, statements, and summaries for management review.
• Monitor and reconcile discrepancies in financial data and resolve issues.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
• Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information and ensure accuracy.
• Stay updated on relevant financial regulations and compliance requirements.
• Provide support during audits by organizing and presenting financial documents as needed.
• Perform other related tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar financial role (US clients preferred).
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Accounting software is a must; familiarity with Xero is a plus.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices; strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Education: Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred but not required; relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Bookkeeper) are a plus.
