• Conduct site surveys to gather accurate field data for the design of outside plant infrastructure, including fiber optic cables, utility poles, and underground facilities. • Assess site conditions, identify potential obstacles, and determine optimal routes and locations for OSP installations. • Develop detailed OSP design layouts, plans, and drawings using design software such as AutoCAD or GIS tools. • Collaborate with the design team, project managers, and engineers to ensure that OSP designs meet project requirements, standards, and specifications. • Prepare and review design documentation, including design calculations, material lists, and construction drawings. • Work closely with field engineers and construction teams to provide support during the implementation phase, addressing any design-related queries or issues. • Stay updated with industry standards, best practices, and emerging technologies related to OSP design and surveying. • Participate in meetings, site visits, and discussions with clients, stakeholders, and project teams to discuss design concepts, progress, and revisions. • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental guidelines, and local codes during the design and implementation of OSP projects. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s/College Degree in Engineering, Surveying, or related field. • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. • Professional driving license and Engineering license is a plus. • Minimum of 2 years of experience in OSP design, surveying, or a related role. • Strong knowledge and experience in OSP design, surveying, and telecommunications infrastructure. • Knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to OSP design and construction. • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, QGIS tools, or similar applications. • Ability to conduct detailed site surveys, analyze site conditions, and determine optimal OSP routes and installations. • Experience in the telecommunications or utility industry is a plus. • Proficiency in AutoCAD or GIS tools, and MS applications. • Effective communication, collaboration, and interpersonal abilities. • Can start ASAP. #J-18808-Ljbffr
