Summary Description

Dover Business Services (DBS) is looking for talented AP Analysts to join our new shared service center in Cebu, Philippines. Working within an emerging shared services organization, the AP Analyst is responsible for delivering timely and quality service to internal stakeholders and Dover suppliers, as measured by service level agreements and key performance indicators. The role involves operational processing, including data collection, account reconciliation, and tracking of correspondence.

This is an exciting opportunity to gain exposure to a diverse portfolio of businesses across the manufacturing industry and to gain cross-functional experience in a team-oriented, entrepreneurial environment.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Receive and match supplier invoices to Purchase Order and Receipt data in the accounting system.
  • Perform exception invoice processing, including for Non-PO invoices, emergency payments, and other check requests, while maintaining documentation and adhering to Dover processes.
  • Analyze invoice matching errors, develop corrective actions, and collaborate with Procurement and Receiving teams to resolve issues.
  • Interact courteously with suppliers and determine when to involve Procurement personnel for guidance.
  • Recommend updates to supplier data during AP processes.
  • Maintain productivity and meet service level agreements, referencing legacy accounting systems as needed.
  • Perform reconciliations regularly.
  • Handle manual transactions and wire payments in accordance with policy.
  • Complete internal transfer transactions.
  • Assist with other projects or duties, including continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Management, or related field.
  • Experience in invoice matching, payment issue resolution, or related AP functions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel; SharePoint experience is a plus.
  • Experience with Oracle system preferred.
