We are seeking a highly capable and detail-oriented Finance Manager to manage complex tax compliance and advisory work for Australian clients. The successful candidate will have strong technical knowledge of Australian taxation law, including Division 7A, Capital Gains Tax (CGT), and Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT), and will be responsible for preparing financial statements, tax returns, and work papers from start to finish. You will work closely with clients and internal teams to ensure compliance, accuracy, and value-added service.

Job Qualifications

Responsibilities:

  • Tax Compliance and Financial Reporting: Manage end-to-end tax and compliance work for Australian entities, including individuals, partnerships, companies, and trusts.
  • Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with Australian Accounting Standards.
  • Draft and lodge income tax returns ensuring compliance with current ATO requirements.
  • Data Analysis and Software Integration: Analyse and interpret financial information received from clients in a wide range of formats.
  • Enter and map data accurately into the client’s preferred accounting or tax software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, HandiTax, APS).
  • ATO Portal Usage: Access and retrieve client information from the ATO Portal including lodgement records, income tax accounts, integrated client accounts, PAYG installments, and notices of assessment.
  • Use ATO data for reconciliation, lodgement tracking, and review of client obligations.
  • Work-paper Preparation and Documentation: Prepare comprehensive work papers and supporting schedules based on client source data and software exports. Ensure all work papers meet internal documentation and audit standards.
  • Accounting Adjustments and Reconciliations: Process year-end adjusting journal entries. Reconcile client records and update their accounting system to reflect finalized year-end balances and tax positions.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience in Australian Taxation and Compliance
  • 6+ years of experience in Australian Accounting
  • Experience in working with Australian SMEs
  • Experience in the preparation and review of financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, sole traders, companies, and trusts
  • Competent with computer operations as well as some specific applications, such as Xero, MYOB, QBO
  • Excellent English communication skills
  • Willingness to learn and develop computer competencies; generally able to work independently through tasks until completion
  • Excellent personal time and task management; ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication skills, work ethic, and ability to work as part of a team
  • A friendly, committed, and flexible attitude; positive and proactive mindset

Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Digital Marketing Manager (Paid Media & Copywriting Specialist) to drive lead acquisition through targeted paid advertising campaigns and compelling, compliant ad copy. This dual-function role requires both strategic campaign management and strong copywriting skills. The ideal candidate is data-driven yet creative—able to analyze campaign performance, optimize for results, and craft persuasive copy that converts, particularly within regulated industries like financial services. You’ll be responsible for executing end-to-end campaigns while ensuring messaging aligns with compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

Paid Media

  • Plan, launch, and optimize campaigns across Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and other platforms.
  • Conduct keyword research, audience targeting, and A/B testing to maximize performance.
  • Monitor budgets, analyze KPIs, and deliver actionable performance reports.
  • Collaborate with compliance and marketing teams to ensure campaigns meet U.S. financial regulations.

Copywriting

  • Write persuasive, compliant copy for ads, landing pages, and campaign collateral.
  • Adapt messaging for multiple audience segments while maintaining brand tone.
  • Partner with designers to pair copy with creative assets for stronger impact.
  • Support additional marketing needs such as ad variations, email subject lines, and short-form content.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years’ experience in digital marketing with a strong focus on paid media.
  • Proven success in writing effective, conversion-focused ad copy.
  • Hands-on experience with tools such as Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, SEMrush, HubSpot, Go High Level, Flavio (email automation).
  • Strong English proficiency, with experience writing for U.S. audiences.
  • Background in financial services, legal, or other regulated industries is valued.
  • Analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and optimize strategies.
  • Comfortable working U.S. Central/Eastern hours, with availability for team meetings.
