Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Web Developer & IT Support Specialist to join our Clients’ IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible to develop web apps, integrate systems, manage APIs, and maintain WordPress sites. Provide IT admin support, document processes, and collaborate with teams. Work Set Up: Employment Type: Full Time Shift Schedule: Mon-Fri, 6:30 am to 3:30 pm Work Setup: Onsite Location: Cavite Client Industry: Property/Real Estate/Financial Education Key Responsibilities: Web Application Development Develop, and deploy scalable web applications from the ground up. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and create user-centric solutions. Implement best practices for coding, testing, security and deployment. System Integration & API Management Integrate various systems and third-party services using APIs. Develop and maintain API interfaces to ensure seamless data exchange between systems. Troubleshoot integration issues and collaborate with vendors or internal teams for resolution. WordPress Development Build, maintain and customise WordPress themes and plugins. Optimize website performance, security, and user experience. Troubleshoot and resolve WordPress-related issues promptly. Backup IT Administration Tasks Act as a backup for the IT Administrator during absences. Provision and manage user accounts on Google Workspace. Monitor email systems for spam and security issues. Provide first-line support, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues for end users. Documentation & Collaboration Maintain clear and concise documentation for code, systems, and processes. Work closely with IT, design, and business teams to align technical solutions with business needs. Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to process improvements. Team fit is a high priority, We are a sociable team but also like to get things done. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in IT or any related field. Proven experience in web development and hands-on experience with WordPress development, including custom theme and plugin creation. Experience with system integration and API development. Prior exposure to IT support tasks, particularly with Google Workspace management, is a plus. Proficiency in front-end (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and back-end programming languages (PHP, Python, etc.). Strong understanding of RESTful API principles and integration. Familiarity with version control systems such as Git. Experience with database management (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.).
