Citi Finance is responsible for the firm's financial management and related controls. We manage and partner on key Citi initiatives and deliverables, such as our quarterly earnings process and ensuring Citi's compliance with financial rules and regulations. The team comprises chief financial officers who partner with each of our businesses and disciplines including controllers, financial planning and analysis, strategy, investor relations, tax and treasury.

We're currently looking for a high caliber professional to join our team as Vice President, Finance Reporting Lead Analyst - Hybrid based in Taguig . The VP, Finance Reporting Lead Analyst (US Reg Reporting Lead Analyst - C13) will be responsible for the preparation and analysis of schedules related to the filing of several key US Regulatory Reports including Qualified Financial Contracts - QFCs and other Regulatory Reports. This position requires a high degree of discretion and authority to ensure that the compilation, analysis, and reporting of Citi's financials to the Federal Reserve are conducted in accordance with regulatory and internal standards.

In this role, you're expected to:

  • Support the analysis and submission of reports to various constituencies (local regulators, SEC, Fed, OCC, etc.) based on requirements such as US GAAP, US Regulatory, and local statutory reporting.
  • Responsible for producing daily information for the QFC process and submitting as required by the Regulator.
  • Instill operational discipline into existing team processes.
  • Work with senior leadership on strategic planning, establishing guidelines, implementing controls, and executing strategic plans.
  • Mentor and advise on directional strategy by analyzing subject matter and its application within role and the business.
  • Assist with the implementation of policies and procedures.
  • Serve as a technical mentor for an area within the business.
  • Build and maintain a thorough understanding of related product reporting and analytics and utilize knowledge of systems and process flows to provide insight and recommendations on identified issues.
  • Operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
  • Exercise independence of judgment and autonomy.
  • Act as SME to senior stakeholders and/or other team members.
  • Assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets.

As a successful candidate, you'd ideally have the following skills and exposure:

  • 6-10 years of experience in Financial Services preferred.
  • Global Project Management experience preferred.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements.
  • Proven organizational and time management skills.
  • Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
  • Master's degree preferred.
