Engineer I Product Environmental Compliance

By joining us as an Engineer I, Product and Environmental Compliance , you will apply a wide range of specialized Engineering skills to acquire, maintain, and document regulatory and agency approvals and compliance certifications for our Emerson products. You will be part of the team that will provide assessments and clarification of codes and standards to the project teams at Emerson. In this role, you will be based in Mandaluyong City, Philippines. In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Monitor the Compliance System, ensuring accurate and complete material compliance data necessary for product and substance compliance analysis. Collect compliance data through supplier and parts management from different supply chain systems and scrub the list based on business unit qualification criteria. Coordinate with suppliers, ensuring the validity of supplier contact information, completing material declaration requirements, and ensuring documents are prepared and completed. Manage customer compliance through product and material compliance analysis and communications. Find opportunities for improving productivity and enhancing work processes. Who You Are You have a strong drive for results and exhibit passion and enthusiasm to get things done. You can efficiently carry out tasks independently and generate accurate, high-quality reports. You are a proactive self-starter and highly innovative in approaching problem-solving. You can proficiently communicate ideas, collaborate, and efficiently work with people at any level, excelling in a team environment. For This Role, You Will Need Bachelor's degree in any Engineering program. 1.5 years of relevant work experience in environmental compliance with knowledge of materials and chemical substances. Ability to interpret drawings and technical specifications and calculate substance content and concentration. Working knowledge of environmental legislation such as ROHS and REACH. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
