Job Description Position Overview - Draftsman. As a drafting contractor at SPO you will be supplied with a drawing template for each job containing all styles, layers and the hi-resolution image of the property already correctly scaled. You will be required to incorporate the existing elements of the property into the drawing by precisely drawing over the image and labeling as required. About The Client (AU) A drafting service that produces site plans for council submissions across Australia. We bring together the latest georeferenced aerial photography, boundary and services information to create a site plan with all the information required to submit to council or private building certifier for a planning permit or to just help with planning a project. Basic Outline of all major structures Road Property Boundary Hard Surfaces Overall dimensions of main structure Detailed As per Basic + Garden Borders Lawn Area Trees and shrubs Technical As per Detailed + Existing UG Services (Dial Before You Dig Data) Neighboring building outline SPO works on a 24-hour turnaround from time of order; this means we require a quick response from our contractors to ensure we meet our targets. Currently we are completing approximately 200 orders per month. Contractor Requirement for Each Job Drawing in existing elements as per order type (Basic, Detailed or Technical.) Correctly annotate boundary, structures, road etc. Setting viewport on drawing sheet to suit property size. Filling in title block with client name, address, Property Lot and Plan Printing to PDF and reviewing for any mistakes/addressing as required. SPO Contractor Processes SPO utilises the online platform ‘Monday’ for all its jobs, this enables us to receive online orders, correctly set the status of the job and assign to different people as needed, contractors are included on our account. There is no cost to the contractor. SPO utilises Microsoft ‘One Drive’ for all its jobs and associated files. Contractors are included in our account, there is no cost to the contractor. A valid version of Autocad is required for this position, this can either be supplied by SPO or the contractor. This will be reflected in the hourly rate of contractor. Work Schedule (Dayshift) Monday to Friday (6AM-3PM; Manila Time) Work Setup (WFH) Permanent Homebased Equipment will be provided by Outsourced Candidates are required to have a stable/reliable internet connection with at least 20MBPS for BOTH download AND upload speed.
