HS & ESG Supervisor

Responsibilities:

Health and Safety Execution

• Conduct safety walkthroughs, toolbox meetings, and compliance checks.
• Monitor proper PPE usage, hazard control implementation, and unsafe act/condition reporting.
• Coordinate corrective actions with site supervisors and Safety Officers.

Environmental Monitoring

• Oversee compliance with environmental protocols such as waste segregation, spill control, and facility cleanliness.
• Support Pollution Control Officer (PCO) tasks, including inspections, waste manifest management, and WEM coordination.
• Report deviations or environmental risks to the HSE-ESG Lead.

Incident and Risk Management

• Document incidents, near misses, and unsafe behaviors with prompt escalation.
• Assist in risk assessments and Job Safety Analysis (JSA).
• Track corrective actions and safety observations through reports and dashboards.

Emergency Readiness Support

• Ensure fire exits, safety signage, and emergency equipment (fire extinguishers, first aid kits) are in place and inspected.
• Assist with ERT training and drill coordination at the site level.

Sustainability and ESG Activities

• Participate in site-level sustainability initiatives such as energy-saving programs, recycling drives, and ESG campaigns.
• Track utility usage, waste volumes, and other ESG metrics under direction of the HSE-ESG Lead.

Qualifications:

• DOLE-recognized Safety Officer 3 or higher (required) Certified Pollution Control Officer;
• At least 2 years of experience in HSE roles in logistics, industrial, or transport sectors with experience in implementation of HSE & Sustainability programs across multiple sites operations;
• With practical experience in Internal Audit, Emergency Response Team, EHS Committee, Behavior-based EHS Programs, Risk Management, Business Continuity Planning, First Aid;
• Willing to travel across assigned sites
• Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Safety Management, Engineering, or equivalent
