Compensation and Work Arrangements Hourly Rate: The equivalent of US$ 19.55 per hour in the applicant’s local currency. Number of Paid Hours Per Week: 20 h per week. Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM (EST). Work Arrangement: Work from home. This permanent work‑from‑home position is for an Independent Contractor; selected candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. Professional fees are paid hourly and depend on performance in the application process. Responsibilities QuickBooks Online mastery and core bookkeeping – serve as the subject matter expert for QBO, own the integrity of the GL for multiple entities, meticulously review and classify all transactions, and ensure accurate recording of assets, liabilities, and expenses to guarantee GAAP‑compliant balance sheets and profit & loss statements. Strategic reporting and analysis – prepare, analyze, and present high‑level financial reports to senior management, providing actionable insights for strategic decision‑making and growth initiatives. Take ownership of complex financial reconciliations, ensuring integrity and consistency across QBO, Service Titan, and other platforms for multiple business entities. Optional Payroll Support Knowledge of US payroll processing, pay codes, and compliance is a strong advantage. This role may involve assisting with payroll cycle management as needed. Requirements Expert‑level mastery of QuickBooks Online (QBO) – mandatory. Must possess outstanding, hands‑on, multi‑entity bookkeeping experience and the ability to thoroughly understand, analyze, and maintain the integrity of core financial concepts: assets, liabilities, equity, revenue, and expenses. Payroll knowledge is a plus, but not required. Advanced accounting acumen – a minimum of 4 + years of progressive, hands‑on experience in accounting, with demonstrated mastery of GAAP and complex, multi‑entity financial structures. Technical proficiency – proven ability to expertly utilize QuickBooks Online and quickly learn Service Titan or other industry‑specific management software. Education Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred. Additional Qualifications Sharp attention to detail with an unyielding commitment to producing highly accurate and compliant financial information. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work highly autonomously, managing and prioritizing multiple high‑stakes tasks in a fast‑paced, part‑time environment.
