About the role
Digital8 Inc. is seeking a talented and driven Social Media Assistant to join our dynamic team. As a Social Media Assistant, you will play a crucial role in executing our social media strategy and engaging with our growing online community. This is a full-time position based in Mandaluyong City, Metro Manila.
What you'll be doing
Create and curate engaging social media and news content across all platforms
Write compelling and brand-aligned captions that drive engagement and interaction
Design basic graphics and visual assets for posts, updates, and news features
Schedule and publish social media and news content to ensure consistent messaging and frequency
Monitor and respond promptly and professionally to comments, messages, and inquiries
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement creative social media and news campaigns
Track and analyze social media metrics, providing regular reports and actionable insights
Work toward measurable goals to increase visibility, engagement, and reach
Stay informed on the latest news, trends, best practices, and platform updates in social media
What we're looking for
1-2 years of experience in a social media or digital marketing role
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Strong understanding of social media platforms and their best practices
Proficiency in using social media management tools (e.g. Hootsuite, Buffer, Canva)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Creative and innovative mindset with a keen eye for detail
Familiarity with data analysis and reporting
