Responsibilities:

• Extract data for Financial Reporting
• Create reporting packs including variance tables and charts
• Extract data for preparation of forecasts and simulations
• Upload and submit monthly forecast data
• Validate and perform control checks of submitted data
• Support the local country team in preparation of analytical tasks and ad-hoc data
• Participate in implementation of new procedures
• Identify opportunities for automation or standardization
• Copy best practices from co-workers and share new methods identified
• Perform tasks against agreed Service Levels and Metrics
• Maintain process documentation

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of FP&A; experience in numerical analysis or reporting is advantageous
• Analytical skills and business acumen
• Experience with large data sets preferred
• Experience with SAP, EDW (Cognos) required
• Excellent Microsoft Excel skills; ability to handle high volumes of financial data accurately
• Ability to work as part of a remote team
• Strong communication skills; able to listen, articulate queries
• Fluent spoken and written English; other languages beneficial
• Bachelor's degree in finance or business management
• Must be amenable to a midshift and hybrid setup

Job Overview:

• Collate and analyze financial and operational data for Hitachi Solutions in APAC
• Support management reporting and ad-hoc financial reports for the Head of Finance - APAC

Reports to: Assistant Vice President (AVP) Finance - APAC

Employment Type: Full-time, permanent

Work Schedule: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Work Location: Full-time work from home (until further notice). Office address: BGC, Taguig City

Job Responsibilities

• Analyze financial data
• Research macroeconomic and microeconomic conditions
• Prepare accounting and other required reports and projections
• Establish and evaluate records, statements, and profit plans
• Identify financial performance trends and financial risk
• Coordinate with Finance team and risk analyst to review information and forecasts
• Coordinate with Operations Team to provide qualitative information on financial results
• Provide financial models and make financial forecasts

Task Output

• Working Paper Templates on Budget and Monthly Rolling Forecast (Adaptive System)
• APAC Budget Worksheets per ODIN Entity and Consolidated
• Monthly Monitoring Report of Actual vs. Budget per Entity and Consolidated
• Monthly Detailed Rolling Forecast
• Any other ad-hoc analysis reports for Head of Finance or Top Management

Qualifications

• CPA required
• Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
• Exposure to multiple aspects of accounting and finance
