Overview

Role: Manager, IT Risk. Location: Metro Manila (Philippines). This position focuses on IT / Information Security risk management, including framework development, risk assessments, and communication with risk partners and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develops and/or reviews IT / IS risk management framework, policies and protocols.
• Perform and monitor risk assessment exercises, including analyzing, identifying, measuring, and mitigating risks that impact key business processes and systems.
• Coordinate and execute IT / IS risk assessments and reviews, providing risk-based recommendations.
• Prepare risk management and business contingency plans to develop a business continuity plan that reduces risk factors.
• Develop and maintain communication channels with risk partners such as Operational Risk Management and Outsourcing Risk Management.
• Create and present IT / IS risk reports and proposals to the Head of Risk Management, Head of GRC, executive leadership, and senior staff.
• Oversee and review the company’s IT / IS-related insurance policies.
• Help raise risk awareness and provide education and training to employees.
• Create and maintain an external network with other senior IT risk managers and risk forums.
• Stay aware of changes in IT industry standards, best practices, and risk landscape to maintain professional competence.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with IT risk management professionals to articulate key risks and create effective risk management solutions.
• Thorough understanding of IT systems, networks and infrastructure with working knowledge of programming languages.
• Leadership abilities to motivate and manage teams; provide support during threats and manage risk.
• Strong problem-solving skills to analyze information, generate reports, and manage tasks.
• Familiarity with applicable banking regulations.

Required Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
• Over 5 years of experience in IT risk management, compliance, audit, IT governance, information security, or IT compliance.
• Experience with non-IT process reviews and/or integrated audits with data analytics.
• Strong knowledge of IT General Controls, Cyber/Information Security and Data Privacy, IT Operations, IT Governance and risk management, Business Continuity Management, SDLC, Change Management, and IT Application Controls.
• Familiarity with IT control frameworks and standards such as COBIT, ITIL, NIST-CSF, and ISO 27001.
• Proven ability to identify IT and security risks and recommend controls to mitigate them.
• Strong organization and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks; good written and verbal communication with stakeholders at all levels.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certifications in IT audit, IT risk and governance, and information security (e.g., CISA, CISSP, COBIT5, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, CRISC).
• Experience in performing reviews or audits of AWS cloud security and operations.
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes and related tools.
• Familiarity with AWS Elastic Kubernetes Service and related integrations.
