We are looking for an experienced Live Action video editor to join our team long term. The candidate should have strong experience and proven references in live action video editing.

What you’ll do

• Perform the full range of editing tasks from splicing, to sound balancing, to color correction and color grading.
• Review the script to understand video production requirements.
• Establish a clear understanding of the storyline and purpose of the video.
• Edit video to include preselected music, interviews, sound clips and other project elements.
• Ensure correct formatting and presentation for finalized videos according to client specifications.
• Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry best practices to maximize efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in film studies, cinematography, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Previous work experience as a video editor.
• Excellent sense of design and creativity applied to video editing.
• Ability to complete a project within the given time frame.
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
• A reliable internet connection.
• Hands-on experience with editing software such as Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Knowledge of color correction and color grading.
• Consistency in meeting and exceeding set goals; attention to detail.
