JSC is responsible for providing back-office support to the business units of Jardine Group by administrating transactional and rule-based activities. We aim to deliver world-class services to our internal customers in a cost-efficient manner via process harmonization, application of state-of-the-art technologies, automation and process simplification.

We are looking for a Security Analyst to assist the JM Group’s subsidiaries across the Far East Region to enhance their cybersecurity posture by using security tools, methodologies, and best practices in software development and IT operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform testing and develop configuration and operations documentation for new security tools and services including, but not limited to, EDR, DLP, SIEM, MDM/MAM, SEG, SASE, CASB and various cloud security tools, vulnerability management, etc.
  • Guide and assist IT staff in Group businesses in configuring, deploying and troubleshooting security tools and in hardening infrastructure and applications (e.g., Active Directory, SQL databases, network devices, etc.)
  • Assist with the development of incident response plans, workflows, playbooks, and documentation
  • Guide and assist IT staff in Group businesses with investigations when an incident is escalated by the managed security services provider
  • Provide cyber operations support as required by the Group’s businesses, driving continuing improvement

Requirements

  • Certification in information security disciplines (such as CISSP, Security+, GCIA, GCIH) is preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in a technical hands-on role in security or similar technical roles in a corporate environment.
  • A keen interest in understanding the attacker mindset, tools and tactics and the motivation to defeat them
  • Strong understanding of common security technologies and operational best practices
  • Scripting and reporting skills to support automation, data analysis and threat hunting (Powershell, GPO, SQL, PowerBI)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experienced in working with offshore colleagues / customers / suppliers
