Our Marketing teams conceptualise and implement go-to-market activities to achieve increased usage and visibility. The Regional Marketing team is responsible for in-app campaign planning, product marketing, partnerships, and content strategy to drive acquisition and engagement. The Regional Brand and Growth Marketing team covers all aspects of online and performance marketing, which involve tracking and measuring data to better reach our users. Our local marketing teams work closely with the regional teams to localise and adapt strategies to increase brand awareness and acquisition in each market.

About the Team:

Shopee Video is a short-form video feature for users to watch and create videos for entertainment consumption and driving sales. The Shopee Video Project team is a cross-department and cross-functional project team, with core members coming from the Marketing and BD departments.

The Shopee Video Marketing team is responsible for:

  • Planning and executing all user-facing Video initiatives, including communications, marketing BAU, and campaign programs.
  • Performance tracking, data analysis, incentive design, and budgeting.
  • Collaborating with the Regional and Local Products teams to ensure key features are in place to drive the Video project objectives.

Job Description:

  • Support the Video team with daily data requests, including extracting raw data from internal databases, checking and cleaning data to ensure accuracy and completeness, generating meaningful and actionable insights from data, and presenting data in executive-ready tables and slides.
  • Contribute to brainstorming sessions to formulate hypotheses to help build strong data narratives and compelling reports.
  • Proactively optimize current processes, tools, and reports to drive efficiency and scale.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related quantitative field.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of relevant work experience in data analysis.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and SQL skills (Python is a plus).
  • Detail-oriented with proven project management skills.
  • Self-starter and a team player who enjoys a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
