Our differences are what fuel our creativity.In this position, you will join our Water Utilities team, playing an integral role in delivering high-quality civil engineering solutions for municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects. You will provide design leadership for medium-sized projects or packages, ensuring excellence in engineering deliverables while mentoring junior engineers and designers.* Lead civil design for municipal water and wastewater treatment infrastructure, including networks design and pumping systems.* Apply hydraulic engineering principles to open channel and closed conduit systems.* Provide engineering guidance and quality assurance across all deliverables generated by junior engineers, designers, and drafters.* Manage design packages for medium-sized projects or facilities, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.* Utilize digital design tools such as Plant 3D, Civil 3D, 12D, AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant software for design management and execution.* Engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment across project teams and clients. You will also need the following:* Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering* At least 7+ years of relevant professional experience* Experience in design management of medium-sized projects or packages/facilities* Proven track record as civil design lead in municipal water and wastewater treatment infrastructure* Expertise in networks design and pumping systems (water & wastewater)* Solid understanding of hydraulic engineering for open channel and closed conduit systems* Ability to instruct and mentor junior engineers, designers, and drafters, providing guidance and quality assurance* Experience using Plant 3D, Civil 3D, 12D, AutoCAD, Revit (any of the listed)* Experience in detailed design and construction is advantage* Knowledge of Australian water industry standards and codes is advantage* Strong internal and external stakeholder communication and management skillsOur**Aurecon Attributes** define our way of being – they are a collection of qualities that makes us who we are.
