Role Overview The OTC Team Leader is responsible for managing and overseeing the end-to-end order-to-cash process, leading a team, optimizing processes, driving improvements, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to enhance cash flow and working capital. Flexibility to work in shifts is required. Key Responsibilities Oversee the end‑to‑end order‑to‑cash cycle, including order management, invoicing, credit and collections, dispute resolution, and cash application. Lead day‑to‑day activities, interact with customers and client stakeholders, prepare agendas and presentations, and manage third‑party providers. Deliver high‑quality, customer‑focused service, ensuring timely and accurate processing of complex financial and accounting transactions within agreed SLAs. Set and achieve operational objectives, track and report service performance, and make timely decisions based on data, intuition, and expertise. Identify potential slippage, take proactive action to create opportunities or mitigate future crises, and collaborate with internal and external clients to resolve issues promptly. Participate in transition and stabilization phases and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance OTC effectiveness. Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, legal regulations, and audit requirements. Track and report OTC performance metrics such as aging reports, cash flow trends, and dispute resolution rates. Process‑Specific Duties Order Management : Ensure accurate order entry and fulfillment, resolve discrepancies with sales, logistics, and supply chain. Invoicing & Billing : Generate, distribute, and follow up on invoices in compliance with policies and regulations. Credit & Collections : Manage credit assessments, approvals, limit reviews, and supervise collection activities. Dispute & Deduction Management : Coordinate resolution of disputes and claims, analyze trends, and implement corrective actions. Cash Application : Allocate payments accurately, address unallocated payments, and reconcile accounts. Leadership & Team Management Manage, mentor, and develop a cross‑functional OTC team, fostering a performance‑driven environment. Conduct regular training, ensure cross‑training, and support new joiners’ onboarding and development plans. Allocate workload, maintain SLA/KPI adherence, and drive continuous improvement projects. Preferred Education Bachelor’s Degree. Required Technical And Professional Expertise Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field. At least 6 years of Order‑to‑Cash experience, with 3 years in a managerial/team‑leader capacity. Strong understanding of OTC processes, ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), and automation tools. Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with cross‑functional management experience. Excellent understanding of financial reporting and data analysis. Knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in credit, collections, and invoicing.
