Responsibilities

Medical Billing: collect and enter patient demographics, insurance, and referral details into EMR (Practice Perfect); verify insurance eligibility; obtain prior authorizations; code charges; submit claims; monitor batches

Payment Posting & AR: post payments; reconcile with remittance; apply adjustments; track aging; follow up with payers

Denial Management & Corrections: investigate denials, resubmit corrections, file appeals

Patient Billing & Collections: generate statements; respond to inquiries; establish payment plans

AR Duties: invoice, apply payments, monitor balances, support monthly/year-end close, maintain records

Requirements
