IP Data Analyst I Join to apply for the IP Data Analyst I role at B&M Global Services Manila 3 days ago Be among the first 25 applicants IP Data Analyst I will provide a full service for the trademark prosecution process or maintenance of clients' IP rights, using IP systems that have been and may occasionally be deployed. Role holder will provide full administrative support in processing IP-related correspondence, issuing instructions to correspondent law firms, and fulfilling other duties as required ensuring the smooth and efficient handling of clients undertaken by IPSU. Responsibilities Coordinate, analyze, and process incoming correspondence relating to IP matters received from Baker McKenzie offices, IP clients, and additional global law firms Identify key deadlines and update client records accordingly using an electronic IP management system Create records and coordinate IP matter work plans to relevant IP attorneys based on new instructions received from IP clients and Baker McKenzie managing offices Update global records with accurate and consistent data throughout the trademark registration, renewals, and maintenance process Docket and review actions (i.e. e-docket) relevant to the client's trademark portfolio management Provide agents with instructions to renew trademarks promptly or to allow trademarks to lapse per clients' recommendations, including: Updating trademark records based on agreed procedures and processes Generating reports of registrations due for renewal for a certain period Processing renewal instructions Communicate via email with internal colleagues and global clients Proactively review operational processes, and actively recommend operational and process improvements Manage own workload by allocating work items based on the order of priorities Perform record-auditing of trademarks during client intake or when necessary Closely coordinate with the specialists, and leaders on issues that may affect the clients' IP rights Participate in the implementation and execution of the agreed initiatives and action items in the business plan and other business improvement programs Perform other tasks and activities as may be assigned by the Management Team or leaders from time to time Skills and Experience Bachelor’s degree with good academic credentials Experience working on IP matters is an advantage but not required Good analytical and comprehension skills Good oral and written English communication skills Can handle multiple tasks while maintaining great accuracy, consistency, and quality in data entry and administrative work Able to prioritize and work independently with limited supervision A strong commitment to outstanding client service Working outside normal business hours may be necessary Team player, with a pleasant and positive approach to a sometimes heavy workload Able to establish and maintain an effective working relationship Able to use MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Internet Exceptional work ethic, personal and professional integrity Reports to Supervisor, Client Operational Support Team Travel requirements None, unless required by IPTech PG or its clients.
