Financial Sales Associate Location: Manulife Makati, National Capital Region, Philippines Position Overview The Financial Sales Associate is responsible for providing life insurance solutions to the bank’s clients in coordination with branch sales and service teams. The role requires a dynamic, independent mindset, a clear drive to succeed, and strong relationship‑building skills. Position Responsibilities Provide life insurance and wealth management solutions to China Bank’s clients. Work closely with branch sales and service teams to provide innovative product solutions for protection, long‑term savings, and investment needs. Strengthen long‑term relationships with clients by delivering excellent customer service. Assist the Business Center in achieving sales goals and targets, including lead generation, lead conversion, account acquisition, account maintenance, repeat business, and cross‑selling of MCBL products. Prepare Monthly Sales Call Plans and Daily Sales Call Reports, reviewing and adjusting plans with the Area and Branch Manager. Conduct client calls, sales presentations, and other sales activities. Prepare additional reports required by Management. Generate new account relationships, deepen and broaden existing relationships, and perform account handling and maintenance tasks to improve account profitability. Maintain cordial working relations with clients by ensuring timely handling of their financial needs and requirements. Prepare and ensure availability of documentary requirements. Conduct market/competitor shopping, client mapping, telesales, sales calls, and on‑site product presentations for new business acquisitions, sometimes jointly with the Branch Manager. Promote and facilitate referrals of MCBL products and services to existing and prospective clients. Conduct proper Know‑Your‑Customer (KYC) procedures and Customer Due Diligence (CDD) / Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) based on client risk profile. Ensure daily email communications are checked and attended to. Attend meetings, trainings, conferences, and related learning activities as required by immediate head and/or management. Comply with all HR System (Workday Employee Self Service) requirements and other HR deliverables within the provided deadlines. Ensure 100% completion of compliance trainings mandated by the company within the provided deadlines. Uphold all customer protection, privacy, data handling, and regulatory requirements. Compliance training includes Product Trainings, Product Orientation, promo cascades, and related activities to sharpen product knowledge. Conduct policy reviews to provide a quality customer experience through updates and financial advice, enabling upsell, resell, cross‑sell, and lead generation. After‑sales service is an important deliverable that drives business growth from clients and referrals from Bank Branch Managers and staff. Conduct post‑sales service to all clients and provide real‑time escalation of complaints to concerned units. Facilitate collection via ADA, over‑the‑counter or cheque payments. Conduct regular lead planning with BM to generate quality sales leads. Perform other relevant tasks assigned from time to time. Required Qualifications Must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree. Work experience in bancassurance sales is highly preferred. Candidates with sales and customer service experience from banking, transport, pharmaceutical, FMCG, hospitality, or IT industries are also encouraged to apply.
