Location: Straive Taguig, National Capital Region, Philippines Java Software Engineer Key Responsibilities: Develop, test, and maintain responsive web applications using Java or Python for backend services. Build intuitive user interfaces using React.js / Angular / Vue.js or similar frameworks. Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrations with third‑party services. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers in an Agile environment. Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration/deployment. Ensure performance, security, and scalability of applications. Troubleshoot and debug issues across the stack. Stay updated with emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 3+ years of professional experience in full‑stack development. Strong proficiency in Java (Spring Boot) or Python (Django/Flask/FastAPI) . Experience with RESTful APIs , JSON , and web services integration. Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB). Familiarity with version control tools like Git . Experience with Docker , CI/CD pipelines , and cloud platforms like AWS / Azure / GCP is a plus. Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns. Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with microservices architecture. Familiarity with message brokers (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka). Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies. Contributions to open‑source or personal tech projects.
