Senior Financial Controller | Remote

Job Overview The Financial controller is responsible for maintaining accurate and timely financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with all Philippines accounting and Government regulatory requirements. The role involves a range of accounting tasks, from recording transactions to preparing reports. Key Responsibilities Monthly invoicing of clients. Approximately 70 percent of the clients are invoiced at the beginning of the month with the balance invoiced by month end. Debt collection. Ensure customers deposit the funds into the Adaca bank account and that any reminders have been delivered electronically. Maintain the debtor ledger. Processing general journal entries. Process and payment of creditor invoices. Management of Philippines based team payroll which includes processing the payroll twice a month and lodging all Philippines based regulatory required documentation including but not limited to tax filings. Complete and lodge any other documentation that is required to be filed with any Philippines authorities. Liaising with the CEO/ CFO to ensure authorization is obtained for payment of payroll, invoices, overtime and creditor invoices. Perform other accounting related tasks as assigned. Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment. Qualifications Proven experience as a Finance Manager, Accountant, or similar role. Strong knowledge of BIR software, Xero, payroll processing, accounts payable, and receivable. Experience with month-end closing processes and financial reporting. Familiarity with Philippine tax regulations and submission requirements. Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
