Job Overview Performs job functions consistent with the Institution's vision and mission statements and core values. Complies with institutional policies, procedures, and systems as contained in the administrative and operations manuals, memoranda, and related issuances. Participates in course development and evaluation activities with the Clinical Coordinator. Interprets program goals and learning objectives for learners with staff at practice sites. Assists the RLE Coordinator in day-to-day liaison/coordination between the affiliation center or clinical agency. Ensures compliance with learner assignments and learning programs as agreed upon between the RLE Coordinator and hospital/clinic administrators and professionals. Responsibilities Supervises learner rotations or site visits and their exposure to clinical practice; helps learners understand duties in different settings; assists learners in integrating theory and practice; ensures clinical lessons align with classroom lessons. Evaluates learners' clinical reasoning and practical skills; directly observes and guides learners during learning activities with professional partners; evaluates learning outcomes and performance in clinical exposure. Conducts formal student performance evaluations and provides formal and informal feedback for improvement; submits grades to the clinical coordinator on prescribed frequency and deadlines. Designs and facilitates clinical seminars and related learning experiences. Provides timely feedback to the RLE Coordinator/lead faculty regarding individual learner and group performance in achieving course outcomes. Provides feedback regarding the clinical setting’s effectiveness in supporting learner achievement of course and program outcomes. Addresses issues related to learners’ on-site health, safety, and security; refers cases of learner behavior to relevant institutional officers per the student handbook. Consolidates work outputs and submits periodic and annual performance reports, as well as other required reports to superiors. Participates in promotional activities and enrollment campaigns; attends internal and external institutional programs and activities (spiritual formation, assemblies, conventions, meetings, community service, etc.). Continually upgrades knowledge and skills through training, development programs, self-initiated learning, and pursuit of further academic programs for professional, technical, and personal proficiency. Participates in ensuring cleanliness, orderliness, safety, and proper utilization of utilities, supplies, and equipment in the work area. Performs additional duties related to the preceding responsibilities as assigned by the immediate superior.
