Work with the engineering team to configure, support, monitor, and improve the security posture of our Big Data platform and Cloud infrastructure. Responsibilities include researching and implementing security-focused tools, embedding security requirements into system development, designing security controls for an infrastructure-as-code model, improving alert quality, conducting routine security posture assessments, maintaining security architecture diagrams, participating in on-call rotations, driving secure design across the business, creating and automating security controls in an Agile, CI/CD environment, assisting developers with code analysis, developing security KPIs, and creating training materials to educate enterprise staff on best practices. Also supports the design, testing, and implementation of complex security solutions to meet cloud security and regulatory requirements and consults with development and operations teams on secure design practices.

Requirements

• Experience in at least one Public Cloud (AWS or GCP).
• Knowledge of information security, risk management, and data privacy within a cloud environment and consumer-facing applications.
