Responsibilities Lead the research, development, and implementation of multimedia quality monitoring systems for VOD, images, live streaming, and real-time communication to increase efficiencies and enhance user satisfaction. Conduct cutting‑edge research on the application of video analysis and quality assessment algorithms tailored for various application scenarios, including general video quality assessment, compression artifact evaluation, and content classification. Apply an advanced understanding of video content technologies to research and implement encoding strategies, transmission methods, and playback algorithms optimized for superior quality‑of‑experience (QoE). Collaborate with internal scientists and engineers to devise and examine research questions, analyze results, and solve complex technology problems. Draft technical contributions, patent applications and academic papers. Manage and mentor junior‑level scientists and interns. Qualifications PhD (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Machine Learning, Data Science, Mathematics, or related field, and 3 years of related work experience. At least 2 years of experience in each of the following: end‑to‑end multimedia transmission; audio and video encoding and decoding; and multimedia quality assessment. Experience designing and implementing ML models and algorithms and deploying them in mobile devices and web servers, using PyTorch, TensorRT, or ONNX. Experience across all phases of the software development lifecycle for design, development, and testing of software using C, C++, Python, data structures, or algorithms. Proficiency with advanced model techniques and algorithms, including Diffusion Models and Large Language Models (LLMs). SQL or Python data‑analysis experience including regression, classification, clustering, and machine learning.
