Overview Freelance Mechanical Engineering Expert - AI Trainer. This opportunity is fully remote and on a freelance basis. The role involves collaborating on Generative AI projects by providing domain expertise in mechanical engineering, training prompts, and evaluating AI model performance. Responsibilities Generate prompts that challenge AI and help improve model capabilities. Define comprehensive scoring criteria to evaluate the accuracy and usefulness of the AI's answers. Correct the model's responses based on your domain-specific knowledge to guide future iterations. Requirements Bachelor's, Master’s, or PhD in Mechanical Engineering and/or a relevant area. At least 3 years of professional experience in one or more of the following fields: thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, solid mechanics, dynamics and vibration, materials science for mechanical engineers, engineering mechanics, mechanical design, machine elements, manufacturing processes, CAD, CAE, FEA, CFD, kinematics, dynamics of machinery, mechanical systems design, thermal systems. Advanced English level (C1) or above. Willingness to learn new methods, ability to switch between tasks and topics quickly, and capacity to follow complex guidelines. Remote freelance role; access to a laptop and internet connection, with time availability and enthusiasm to take on a challenge.
