Overview Lead Java Software Engineer role within IAM, Profile Management, and KYB under the Enterprise Platform team. Focus on Core Maya capabilities. Reports to the Squad Lead and is responsible for development and execution of IAU and Bank roadmap. NATURE OF WORK Lead and manage engineers in a squad Lead the initial solutioning of Product Requirements Build the squad and participate in recruitments Coach and mentor engineers Enforce agile ways of working Work closely with Product Owner and Team to refine requirements and break requests to manageable size with clear acceptance criteria Investigate and fix reported bugs Write automated tests Perform code reviews Research and acquire new technology and products/platforms knowledge to support business direction and improve operational efficiency Identify blocking issues and escalate as appropriate DISPLAYED SKILL MASTERY Actively seeks to understand both business and system needs Works proactively to ensure that commitments to stakeholders are met Makes good decisions based upon rigorous logic and in-depth analysis to solve difficult problems and come up with effective solutions Is a team player who is able to establish effective relationships with colleagues to work on shared initiatives, for the good of the group and the organization REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s or College Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / Computer Engineering or any related course At least 8 years of related work experience Strong experience in developing RESTful web services using Java or Python Strong experience of OOP and software design patterns Strong experience of relational and distributed database systems Good working knowledge of version control tools (eg. git) Working knowledge in the effective use and customization of Continuous Integration and Delivery technology stack Working knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodology Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Industries: Financial Services, Banking, and Technology, Information and Media Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Maya by 2x Get notified about new Java Software Engineer jobs in Mandaluyong, National Capital Region, Philippines. #J-18808-Ljbffr
