Qualifications
  • At least 5 years of experience in the related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience in incident response, cybersecurity operations, or CSIRT roles.
  • Strong understanding of incident response frameworks, processes, and best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with vulnerability management tools (Qualys preferred).
  • Familiarity with threat analysis, digital forensics, and security monitoring tools.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholders and drive incident resolution.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Can start ASAP
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Operate the incident management process in accordance with procedures designed in cooperation with customers, serving as a CSIRT consultant and primary communications point between our security services team and customers’ security and IT staff as well as users and partners.
  • Assist with, identify and respond to incidents on a day-to-day basis and proactively propose improvements to reduce risk and prevent future incidents.
  • Receive and monitor incident information from our managed security services and other sources.
  • Review collected incident data and confirm or reject incidents based on analysis.
  • Classify and prioritize incidents based on established criteria.
  • Facilitate communication between stakeholders regarding incident status.
  • Coordinate containment efforts based on available information and established processes.
  • Perform vulnerability management using the Qualys tool.
  • Make containment decisions and facilitate escalation and decision-making with other parties as needed.
  • Communicate with affected users and partners to organize containment efforts.
  • Verify the effectiveness of containment actions and eradication efforts.
  • Identify attack vectors and take actions to prevent similar incidents in the future.
  • Coordinate forensics and law enforcement activities with officials as necessary.
  • Analyze the incident response effort with feedback from the customer and third parties.
  • Conduct proactive management of the Monitoring and Analytics solution.
