Job brief A dynamic and growing digital solutions firm is seeking an experienced Senior Java Cloud Engineer to help lead the design and development of cloud-native applications. The ideal candidate is highly skilled in Java Spring Boot and cloud infrastructure, with a proven track record of delivering robust, scalable systems. You will collaborate closely with cross-border teams to support enterprise-scale deployments and digital transformation initiatives. Responsibilities Design and build backend services and APIs using Java Spring Boot within AWS or Azure environment Develop reusable and scalable modules aligned with best practices in microservices architectur Lead deployment and monitoring of production applications on cloud platforms Participate in agile ceremonies, technical discussions, and requirement reviews Create unit/integration tests and contribute to CI/CD pipelines Support and troubleshoot live systems in collaboration with cross-functional teams Requirements 8+ years of experience in enterprise-level Java development Solid expertise in Spring Boot , REST API development , and microservices architecture Proficiency in SQL and experience with database optimization techniques Strong grasp of NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB, Redis, or similar Hands-on knowledge of DevOps tools : GitHub Actions, Terraform, Azure DevOps, etc Experience working with cloud services (AWS or Azure): API Gateway, Load Balancers, CloudWatch, CodeDeploy, etc. Proven ability to build high-performance, low-latency distributed systems Excellent understanding of software design patterns and best practices Strong communication skills and the ability to work with international stakeholders Preferred Qualifications: Background in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or relateddiscipline Familiarity with JVM internals and performance tuning Experience with caching/search systems (e.g., ElastiCache, lasticsearch) Comfortable working in fast-paced, agile environments Whats on Offer: Above-market compensation package Hybrid setup with flexible work arrangements (after probation) Day 1 HMO coverage including dependents Retirement savings with employer-matched contributions Generous leave policy (including mental wellness days) Certification and training allowance International learning & development travel incentives for top performers Monthly transport and gym membership support Weekly team meals and parking privileges for senior roles Hybrid work arrangement Be part of a high-caliber, global-facing engineering team that values craftsmanship, innovation, and scalable cloud-first solutions. #J-18808-Ljbffr
