As a Senior Accountant, you will leverage your expertise in accounting to oversee essential financial functions. This includes leading month-end closing procedures, managing journal entries, conducting detailed transaction analysis, and ensuring meticulous intercompany reconciliations. Your role will be instrumental in maintaining financial accuracy and compliance within our dynamic, multi-entity environment, supporting our organization's financial health and strategic initiatives. The Senior Accountant is expected to have some leadership experience overseeing other accountants.

What you'll be doing:

Perform general accounting tasks, including preparing and posting journal entries.

Manage and execute month-end closing processes.

Analyze transactions and perform account reconciliations, including intercompany accounts.

Participate in special projects within the finance department to support various initiatives.

Conduct balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Assist with the preparation and coordination of annual audit requirements.

Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment and support for financial objectives.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Minimum of 7 years of experience as an Accountant.

Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, CPA or equivalent a plus

Knowledgeable or have experience with US GAAP.

Supervisory or managerial experience is highly preferred.

Experience working with US Accounting.

Experience and proficiency in NetSuite and Microsoft Excel are required.

Experience in a Big 4 accounting firm is considered an asset.

Experience in an international company, multi-entity, multi-currency environment.

Experience in transaction analysis, account reconciliations, and intercompany accounts.

Excellent organizational skills, enthusiastic, upbeat, and positive with the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative startup environment with changing priorities and deadlines

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Must be a "self-starter" with a can-do demeanor and a serious desire to have a positive impact on the client.

Must be able to work independently, quickly acquire new skills, and drive tasks forward without constant supervision.
