Duties And Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable .NET code. Develop, implement, and optimize SQL queries for application performance and data integrity. Work collaboratively with Dallas HELIX and other ESSPI HELIX resources within an agile team environment. Participate in all agile ceremonies, including estimation, standups, grooming, sprint planning, and retrospectives. Update user stories and tasks in JIRA to accurately reflect sprint progress. Conduct code reviews and ensure quality checks prior to releasing to QA. Submit pull requests, handle code merges, and facilitate smooth software releases. Troubleshoot and resolve defects identified by QA or customers in a timely manner. Foster a culture of team excellence through openness, collaboration, and continuous learning. Proactively provide updates to customers regarding initiative progress. Maintain and update daily monitoring of service deliverables. Prepare and submit necessary reports related to project and service performance. Support other team members to ensure service continuity and operational efficiency. Continuously expand knowledge on business processes and IT-related practices. Stay current with emerging technologies, systems updates, and industry trends relevant to the team’s work. Provide technical mentorship or training to Analyst/Programmers as needed. Perform other related tasks as may be assigned. Core Qualifications And Education Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 5+ years of professional experience with Microsoft .NET (Core/Framework), developing scalable and maintainable applications. 4+ years of SQL Server experience with strong skills in complex queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning. Strong front-end development experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript (ES6+), and React.js (2+ years), including component-based design and state management. 1+ year of experience using TypeScript for building strongly typed and maintainable React applications. 2+ years of hands-on experience with Git for version control and collaborative development. Practical experience working in Agile environments (1+ year) with cross-functional teams. Solid understanding of software development best practices — including testing (unit/integration), code reviews, and clean code principles. Strong knowledge of web fundamentals such as HTTP, REST APIs, response codes, and API integration. Deep understanding of .NET best practices including SOLID principles, dependency injection, and unit testing frameworks. Excellent communication skills in English — able to explain complex technical topics clearly and produce structured documentation. Adaptable, proactive, and eager to learn new tools, technologies, and frameworks. Keeps up-to-date with industry trends and modern software development practices. #J-18808-Ljbffr
