The Project Engineer (Civil) will play a key role in the planning, design, and execution of civil works for solar power projects. This position involves overseeing site development, ensuring compliance with engineering standards, managing contractors, and coordinating with project teams to deliver quality outcomes on time and within budget. The role requires strong technical expertise in civil engineering, the ability to resolve site-level challenges, and a proactive approach to project management. Ideal candidates will demonstrate excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to renewable energy development and client satisfaction. Key Accountabilities Design and Planning: Support the development of civil designs, site layouts, and engineering plans in alignment with project requirements and industry standards Project Execution: Oversee and coordinate all civil works at the project site, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and quality delivery of construction activities Site Management: Monitor site progress, resolve technical and construction-related issues, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations Contractor Coordination: Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and consultants to ensure alignment with project specifications, schedules, and budgets Quality Assurance: Conduct inspections and quality checks to ensure that construction work adheres to design, specifications, and regulatory standards Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and maintain technical reports, progress updates, and documentation required for project tracking and compliance Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with internal project teams and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth implementation and issue resolution Risk Management: Identify potential risks or delays and recommend mitigation measures to keep the project on track Performing other related duties as assigned or required, including transferring to another project assignment if necessary Qualifications At least 5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position Required Skill(s): Must be a Licensed Civil Engineer, with at least 3 years of experience working in the field as Project Engineer for solar projects is required. Experience in horizontal construction/solar projects supervision are required Proficient at large scale grading design, and earthwork calculations is required Familiarity with erosion and sediment control applications in a dry/arid environments and cost effective nonvegetative stabilization techniques is highly desired Experience performing detailed design of solar facilities with complex topographic, environmental, and nonparticipating infrastructure constraints is highly desired Demonstrated proficiency and working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D is required Geographic information system (GIS) experience highly desired Knowledgeable in the Monitoring, installation, testing and operation of solar PV systems Willing to do field works inside and outside Metro Manila COSH, Working at Heights, or other related training is a plus but not required Strong communication and interpersonal skills Salary will commensurate your qualification and experience Proven experience in Microsoft Software Applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook) Location: Muntinlupa City, National Capital Region, Philippines Seniority level: Mid-Senior level Employment type: Contract #J-18808-Ljbffr
