Procurement Associate NetEnergy Pasig, National Capital Region, Philippines Responsibilities Prepare purchase orders and send copies to suppliers and to departments originating requests. Monitor inventory quantities if sufficient for needs, at critical level or at point of ordering level and initiate the material request for stock when necessary. Respond to customer (Site Managers) and supplier inquiries about order status, changes, or cancellations. Perform buying duties when necessary. Contact suppliers in order to schedule or expedite deliveries and to resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries, and other problems. Receives and prepare requisition orders from Site Managers before mobilization. Prepare, maintain, and review purchasing files, reports and price lists. Compare prices, specifications, and delivery dates/options in order to determine the best bid among potential local suppliers. Tracking the status of orders from suppliers. Calculate costs of orders, and charge or forward invoices to appropriate accounts. Coordinate and process pick-up and release of items ordered from overseas from courier/broker. Research for suppliers, using sources such as catalogs and the internet, and interview them to gather information about products to be ordered. Maintain knowledge of all organizational and governmental rules affecting purchases and release of goods from Customs and provide this information to Management. Release and monitor in-house inventory movement and complete inventory transfer forms for bookkeeping purposes.
