Job Description Analyze large-scale structured and unstructured data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities in retail banking portfolios. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using BI tools (Tableau, Qlik Sense, Excel) to support risk analysis and business decisions. Build and optimize data pipelines using SQL and ETL technologies to ensure data accuracy and reliability. Apply statistical and analytical tools (Python, R, SPSS, SAS) to support risk modeling, forecasting, and segmentation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business and regulatory requirements into actionable analytics. Contribute to the development of risk models and stress testing frameworks aligned with regulatory standards. The Successful Applicant A successful Risk Data Scientist should have: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field At least 3+ years of experience in data science with hands-on exposure to risk modeling Strong proficiency in Python and object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts Solid understanding of statistical methods, classical machine learning algorithms, and data visualization techniques Experience with Git for version control and collaborative development Familiarity with risk scoring models, credit risk analytics, or predictive modeling in financial services Nice to have: Design thinking and problem-solving mindset Experience with SQL, Spark, and Docker Understanding of banking products, financial markets, and regulatory frameworks Ability to lead small teams or projects and communicate insights to stakeholders What's on Offer Opportunity to work in the financial services industry with exposure to cutting-edge technologies.
