Talent Acquisition Specialist | Achieve More With Data What You’ll Be Doing: Designs, builds, and optimizes scalable data systems and pipelines using distributed frameworks (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and cloud platforms like Azure. The role focuses on data modeling, storage architecture, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver high-quality data solutions for analytics and business intelligence. Develops and maintains data processing systems using distributed computing frameworks. Designs and optimizes data lakes, warehouses, and storage architectures for performance and scalability. Implements data models that support efficient storage, retrieval, and analysis. Builds robust data pipelines to ingest, transform, and integrate data from various sources (databases, APIs, streaming platforms). Collaborates with BI developers, analysts, and stakeholders to deliver technical solutions aligned with business needs. Communicates complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders. Ensures data quality through validation, unit testing, and troubleshooting. Implements security measures and ensures compliance with data privacy regulations. Establishes data governance practices to maintain integrity and consistency. Supports Agile/Scrum development processes and project delivery timelines. Mentors junior data engineers and shares knowledge across teams. Explores emerging technologies and recommends improvements to data processing and analysis capabilities. Acts as a trusted advisor to customers and takes ownership of solution delivery. What We’re Looking For: Strong proficiency in SQL and Python. Experience in data modeling, validation, and performance tuning. Familiarity with Azure cloud platform and MSSQL. Knowledge of data warehousing tools (e.g., SSMS), delta lakes, and distributed file systems. Solid understanding of batch processing, data integration, and troubleshooting. Experience working with on-premise platforms, including virtual machines and physical servers. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. Experience with Hadoop, Spark, Hive, and Databricks (Spark SQL, PySpark). Background in ELT/ETL pipeline design for large-scale datasets. Familiarity with Synapse, Azure Data Factory, and data orchestration tools. Understanding of data governance, privacy regulations, and compliance standards.
