PSA Makati, National Capital Region, Philippines Spanish Writer (Analyst) Location: Manila, Philippines Schedule: Monday - Friday, flexible work hours PSA is seeking a detail-oriented and bilingual Spanish Research Analyst to join our Manila team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive research, analyzing data, and deriving insights from English, Spanish, and other relevant languages. We are looking for an individual with strong analytical capabilities, cultural fluency, and the proficiency to synthesize complex information into clear, professional reports, which may impact business decisions. Key Responsibilities: Conduct research on diverse business topics across a wide geography by utilizing sources in English, Spanish, and other relevant languages, including news articles, reports, databases, and interviews. Gather data from credible sources through methods such as desktop and database research and phone interviews. Ensure the validation and fact-checking of gathered information for reliability, accuracy, and relevance. Effectively collect, organize, and analyze data in alignment with defined scope requirements. Monitor trends, developments, and emerging issues in Spanish-speaking jurisdictions, including Latin America, Spain, and others. Maintain and update Spanish research databases and knowledge repositories, and establish connections with sources and contacts beneficial to the assigned jurisdiction. Produce accurate, diligently prepared, and robustly defendable due diligence and investigative reports, meeting varying complexities and deadlines. Manage and respond to project-related tasks and communications, and collaborate with team members for group-driven projects. Qualifications: A university degree in political science, finance, or related subject (masters level degree is an advantage) Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Spanish; knowledge of Portuguese language is an advantage. Familiarity with Latin American or European Spanish-speaking jurisdictions is an advantage. Strong analytical, attention to detail, and critical thinking skills are essential. Experience with AI language models (e.g. Chat GPT) for research or drafting tasks, including understanding their benefits and limitations. Proficiency in research tools, databases, and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent written communication and presentation skills, with the ability to produce professional-level due diligence reports. Strong time and project management skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team while managing multiple projects.
