Analyst, Accounting

Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is now seeking an Analyst, Accounting to join our team at WHG Argentina (1701) in Buenos Aires, Buenos Aires. Propósito The Analyst, Accounting is responsible for ensuring the accurate registration, control, and analysis of the accounting operations of the assigned hotels in the LATAMC region. Additionally, they will contribute to ensuring compliance with local and internal regulations, providing timely and reliable fiscal information, and providing key support for accounting closures, financial reports, and audits. Their role is essential for maintaining the integrity and traceability of accounting information, facilitating decision-making in the administrative and financial areas. Principales funciones y responsabilidades Register and control daily accounting transactions for assigned hotels: entries, reclassifications, adjustments, and accruals (such as insurance and services) Analysis, composition, and registration of monthly accounting provisions Monthly analysis of patrimonial and result accounts Reconcile accounting accounts, identify deviations, and make necessary adjustments Coordinate accounting information with Treasury, Human Resources, and hotel teams Monthly preparation of the statement of financial position and results for assigned hotels Inventory management of goods Maintenance of required accounting books (annual) Year-end closure activities Register monthly tax positions (VAT and others) and payroll entries as applicable Prepare and send monthly fiscal information to external accounting studios Follow up on tax presentations by the study Issue withholding receipts for payments to suppliers, fiduciaries, and shareholders Ensure compliance with tax regulations in all involved jurisdictions Prepare the monthly statement of results (ERES) for assigned hotels Ensure the integrity of accounting records to contribute to reliable and timely financial reports Provide support in internal and external audits, facilitating accounting and tax documentation Proactively identify opportunities for correction of accounting imputation and exposure aligned with the company's external reporting procedures Educación y experiencia University degree in Public Accounting or advanced studies in the career (exclusive) > 2 years of experience in similar positions Required: solid handling of general accounting Desirable specialization in tax or accounting standards Company Overview: Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is the world’s largest hotel franchising company by the number of properties with approximately 9,200 hotels across over 95 countries on six continents.
