As our Head of Contracts, you will lead and scale dLocal’s global Commercial Contracts function. Set strategy, build a high‑performing team, and deliver speed with control across regions. What will I be doing? Lead and develop a distributed team; stand up a Contracts CoE with clear intake, SLAs, and escalation paths. Own contracting strategy, templates, clause libraries, playbooks, and approval matrices; resolve executive‑level escalations. Oversee complex, high‑impact negotiations; provide crisp, risk‑based guidance that accelerates safe outcomes. Embed regulatory, Privacy/GDPR and InfoSec requirements, AML/sanctions, data transfer, security into contracting and exceptions. Own CLM/e‑signature roadmap; drive automation, CRM/ERP integration, and publish KPIs (cycle time, acceptance, exception rate, CSAT). Manage outside counsel and budgets; support strategic initiatives and contract migration in M&A/integrations. What skills do I need? Qualified lawyer (EU/UK/APAC) with ~7+ years’ PQE, including in‑house leadership in financial services/fintech/tech. Deep cross‑border commercial contracting expertise; proven ability to balance velocity and risk. Strong GDPR/data transfer knowledge; familiarity with payments/fintech regulatory interfaces. Track record implementing CLM/e‑signature and delivering measurable process improvements. Excellent executive communication and stakeholder influence; team builder and coach. Fluency in English; Spanish or another European language is a plus. What do we offer?
