Procure to Pay Analyst

Job Description
  1. Perform day-to-day tasks within the Procure to Pay (P2P) stream such as daily invoice processing (PO and Non-PO), expense reports audit, and support month-end closing activities.
  2. Ensure performance meets the requirements defined in the SLA/KPI’s.
  3. Review, validate, and process incoming invoices (e.g., PO, Non-PO, credit card statements) accurately and timely into the accounting system.
  4. Ensure invoices are properly coded and booked according to SGS Chart of Accounts.
  5. Verify that invoices comply with SGS policies and procedures.
  6. Audit travel and expense liquidations in accordance with existing rules and regulations.
  7. Process prepayments and follow up on prepaid invoices.
  8. Handle supplier statements and vendor inquiries.
  9. Provide support to colleagues regarding accounting information.
  10. Respond to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders about P2P transactions.
  11. Follow up on match exceptions and coordinate with Business and Procurement for resolution.
  12. Work closely with R2R team to ensure no AP transactions are outstanding in bank reconciliation.
  13. Follow up on long-outstanding items in the Accounts Payables Trial Balance (Ageing).
  14. Follow up on open Purchase Orders and invoices on hold.
  15. Prepare and review accruals and other month-end P2P transactions.
  16. Assist in AP Subledger close and other month-end activities.
  17. Ensure completion and sign-off of monthly checklists by P2P team.
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Accounting, Business, or Finance.
  2. General knowledge of accounting principles.
  3. At least 2 years of professional experience in Procure to Pay.
  4. Experience with financial systems, knowledge of Oracle E Business Suite is a plus.
